Even The Fit Can Improve
Jamie came in strong. A VO2 Max of 50 and aMarathon in his sights. But inflammation from colitis was silently working against him:
Digestive issues. Bloating. Systemic strain. Pelvic tilt skewing his stride. Upper body weak from years of endurance training.
On the outside, he looked ready. But his biological age said otherwise.
We focused first on calming the gut:
Dialed-in nutrition. Tailored supplements.
We didn’t expect full remission during marathon prep — the training load was heavy. But we aimed to hold the line.
The Result
He did more than hold it. His colitis flares eased — even during his usual danger months. Nutrient absorption improved and inflammation dropped.
His frame settled and his running form became more fluid.
Strength climbed while fat dropped.
And he finished that marathon in 3:34 — 34 minutes faster than before.
In heat. Under pressure. With control.
He’s not just pleased.
He’s changed.
